A bit late to ask because I've just finished sawing up about half a ton!
However there is another ton to come.
What's leylandii like as a fuel (open fire, and/or wood burner)?

I done a little research on the net and found onions to be a good
companion to cauliflower.  I can't find much beyond that except to keep
cauliflower away from tomatoes.  I was wondering how cauliflower would
work in the same bed as cantaloupes.  Has anyone ever tried these two

Could anyone help me with some scions (small twigs for grafting) of a Victoria Plum?  I am gardening in Italy where we have some plum trees which bear uneatable fruit.
I suspect they were at one time the rootstock of Apricots, of which the Apricot part has died.

Was it in this NG that I read that with ponds it was no longer required
to clear a hole in the ice to protect wildlife.
Followed that recommendation and ended up with multiple floating frogs
and goldfish.

I usually prune my bush roses end of Feb with no problems.
