Pruning tea olive? ? ?30 Nov 2009 16:40 GMT1
I have a tea olive shrub (osmanthus fragrens) and need to know how to prune
it.
First, the shrub is far out of its natural habitat of the lower southeastern
United States. I grow it in a large pot which I bring in during the coldest
Miltonia potting.30 Nov 2009 16:18 GMT10
I started with this nice Miltonia plant which I purchased at a local farmers

then were that they were supposed to be temperamental and ...

Good news and bad news29 Nov 2009 05:14 GMT2
Two weeks ago I took off the crop from our early apricot.  They were
beautiful, juicy and luscious.  Yesterday I checked the middle apricot (the
next one due to ripen) and found they were ripening already where normally
they wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks.  Sadly in the ...

Firstly are these a gardener's 'must-have or are they the kitchen equivalent

Opinions on "Indoor Allotment" Idea28 Nov 2009 14:44 GMT23
Given that there is (reportedly) a shortage of allotments around the UK

I'd like to plant a couple of tayberry bushes in my garden. For those of

garden and wonder if it is just something we have to put up with?  Wha
