When you dig up the plant to harvest the tubers is the main plant discarded
then save some tubers to replant ?
Is it best to replant the tubers straight away with some compost.

I have ordered some free vivaldi potatoes for my three potatoe pots and am
contemplating ordering another three potatoes pots.  Only thing is that they
ALSO come with potatoes and I wanted to use the pots for other crops.
Question I have is, if I dont find somewhere to grow them ...

I saved quite a lot of seed from this year's Lupins and Hollyhocks.
When should they be sown (under glass) - now and plant out in the spring or
should I save the seed until the spring. If the latter, then presumably I
won't get any flowers until the following year.
