I am replacing the crankshaft in a Briggs and stratton 35 classic petrol
lawn mower.
Can anyone help with how to set the timing.

I have a couple of young Silver Birch trees, still in pots.
After doing a search, I'm still not completely sure of what spacing I
should use when planting... I'd like to plant one either side of my main
front gate (I'm on acreage in Tasmania).

My conservatory needs a new garden thermometer. I note that, since I last
bought one over seven years ago, mercury free max-min digital thermometers
are now available. Are they any good? If yes, any reasonably priced
recommendation would be most welcome.

We have a small hedge of Melfard Yew (Taxus baccata "Melfard") planted  
September last year. We had lots of bright green new shoots this spring.  
The plants are now producing lovely red berries but the new growth has  
turned a golden colour, unlike what I thought should be deep ...
