Got some of these today but, of course, no mention of the variety.

The label says they grow to 18"-24" but, as they're in flower now at a
height of about 9", do I assume they'll flower again or what? It also
Mystery Plant ID02 Sep 2008 04:34 GMT3
I was visiting some cousins this weekend in Bellville (Hwy 36
Brenham/Sealy/Hempstead area), and was shown a mystery plant that
sprouted in a bed seeded with a package of wildflowers.
I have searched through all my books and for hours on the web, but
Rhubarb: transplanting advice01 Sep 2008 22:15 GMT5
Anyone got advice for sharing a rhubarb plant?
3 or 4 colleagues at work expressed an interest when I offered to split
and share our giant rhubarb plant.
I split off some roots about 4 weeks ago and planted them in large pots,
Hand-held pressurised sprayer recommendations01 Sep 2008 21:16 GMT2
I went to buy a small (1-1.5 litre) hand-held pressurised sprayer today.  I
eventually bought one made by a company called Green Jem, but the trouble is
with any sprayer that you can't try it out before you buy.  The shop have
said that if I try this one and it isn't right I can ...
Tree stumps query01 Sep 2008 20:24 GMT3
Yesterday I had a tree cut down in my front garden.  It had got too
big and unmanageable.  It was a Judas tree, which I had grown from
seed.  I had been waiting for a recommended tree surgeon to come and
do it, but yesterday I had two men with a chain saw come to the door

To Repot or Not to Repot01 Sep 2008 16:31 GMT4
I just bought a new phal.  It's in a 4" pot.  The flower spike is
about 18" high with two branches.  It has three beautiful large blooms
and about 12 buds.  It has four large healthy leaves and is growing a
new one.
Best container for a camellia japonica?01 Sep 2008 16:22 GMT4
I've finally realized that my camellia's ongoing flowering
problems might be due to having it in the wrong kind of
container. This year, the flowers didn't seem to have blight,
but only a few opened; the other buds dried up. I took some

Time to bring in your pot plants...
If you own any agricultural land in New Orleans area, write it off now.
If you thought your tax money was safe from aiding evacuees in a bowl below
sea-level along the Gulf Coast for awhile, guess again.
connecting to hose01 Sep 2008 14:41 GMT4
Our new house has only two outside faucets, neither is near the patio.  We
want to bring a water outlet to the patio by connecting something to the
faucet, copper or PVC plastic, which will allow us to connect a water faucet
at the patio which can be turned on and off, for the ...
mulch01 Sep 2008 14:34 GMT1
Mulch when applied correctly can help trees acquire conditions for healthy
growth has they had when they got their genetic codes in a forest.  Mulch
comes in different gradations.  Some people claim removing mulch from a
forest is good for forest health
Quince (Cydonia oblonga) - How far north in the UK, etc?01 Sep 2008 13:28 GMT3
We're considering having a quince tree in our garden, but as we are in
Stoke-on-Trent, we are wondering how likely it is to be able to bear
fruit this far north. We would be planting it in the front garden
which faces roughly south south west, and the soil tends to be heavy
Phalaenopsis in glass cylinder.01 Sep 2008 12:33 GMT4
I have today bought two Phalaenopsis from a garden centre on 'end o
season' offer, both plants were in tall, clear glass cylinder typ
pots. I have since cleaned both plants up, refreshing the orchi
compost adding a little chopped live sphagnum moss. I have always bee
