bought a trailer load of horse manure from teh stables, but sadly it contains sawdust (rather than straw - not that i blame them when comparing prices of the two things). i'm concerned there is so much sawdust in there that mulching with it atm is

Ok, Greetings to all :-) The small established Pomegranate tree has been transplanted, it seems to have heaps of bare twigs...I am so tempted to prune them before its growth spurt.

Roots are busting out all over! All over the old dead last years' ones... Doing some repotting since the roots are a-rooting now. Seeing how the bud sheathes are coming. Found a speculative seeding that I bought years ago ready to flower. Hope its as nice as the ones online. ...

I have been given a packet of my late father's parsnip seeds. I have always been told that parsnips can't be stored from year to year. The date on the packet says year end sept 2008. Is this this year's seed and I can use it as normal next year?

I have had no problem with my Honda GCV135 4.5hp petrol lawn mower unti today. The motor starts on full choke but then wants to immediately cu out unless I quickly reduce the revs to the tortoise setting - ie lo revs. The mower will cut the grass, but put the revs up and the engin

I have a garden that produces great zucchini, but I've noticed that when I cut them the "sweat" is a thick, silicon-like consistency. Is that a problem? What causes this?

In my mother's new house there are a lot of coarse sedge / grass plants that are taking over the garden. We have tried trimming them off at ground level and sprinkling with sodium chlorate, but they are growing again within days.

Why do they eat everything and where do they come from? How often mus they multiply??! What do they do? besides eat my garden and ooze slime Is pouring salt on them cruel? do they know they are dying or am causing other harm by doing this? Help! Ive tried everything else
