| Bermuda Grass Question | 13 Sep 2008 01:39 GMT | 1 |
I have weeds in my lawn that are just terrible! I always called them 'witch grass' because of their nature. The weeds are long (sometimes a foot or more) that string out in the lawn and at my driveway edge. Heck, the stuff can even penetrate asphalt! This site

Having neither used nor visited our boat for a month during the recent monsoon, yesterday it being summer again, we went for a sail. The boat looked like a Hollywood haunted house it was almost cocooned. When we throw the spiders and their eggs into the harbour the ducks gobble them ...

| Weed | 12 Sep 2008 17:02 GMT | 48 |
I have a weed which has invaded my garden and I wage a constant battle against it . It spreads by putting out shoots which then pop up and form the next weed. If the slightest piece breaks off it forms a new weed. I don't know what it is called.

| Should I trim my Variegated Porcelain Vine | 12 Sep 2008 01:25 GMT | 2 |
The tag says "Elegans", I assume that's the variety. This is one of my few successes. Bought at a respected nursery this spring. It has grown about 7 feet tall, clinging to the 'strings' I attached to my porch posts.

| Autumn Lawn Care | 12 Sep 2008 00:54 GMT | 1 |
During the summer months you will hopefully have enjoyed your lawn having barbeques and football games between the rain showers but as it now gets towards autumn you need to start thinking about looking after your lawn to prepare it for next year. It can be extremely frustrating

| Suffolk Punch 43 mower. | 11 Sep 2008 23:39 GMT | 16 |
One I have had for 20 years. Starts first pull and roller and blade are rotating. As soon as I try and cut the grass the blades stop rotating. I have replaced Vee Belt, checked drive chain at the other side of the mover and adjusted the clutch.

The Queen once said she had an Annus Horrbilius, well this August has without doubt been August Awfilius! Reports are indicating the wash out month, has led to a record low butterfly population and summer is nearly over. Lawns and trees, with all the rain have been lush green
