Hi, I have a curry plant in a pot outside my house. It's been doing
really well and until recently has had bright yellow flowers and a great
smell.
Over the last few days I've noticed the flowers are going a horrible

I've seen several different types of weed matting. Some are obviously
never going to last a season.
However which ones would people recommend for suppressing ivy/weeds to
go under shingle/pea gravel please.

We have an apple tree with a few main stems and a few suckers (soon to go).
My aim is to make the tree fan shaped, with only one stem and a darn sight
less branches than now.
My problem I have never pruned an apple before. Any advise other than ground

I bought some Roundup weed killer yesterday.  I sprayed a part of the
fence line.  How many days does it take for it to kill the weeds?  I am
hoping Roundup would first kill the weeds, then I would take a weed-eater to
them in a week or two after Roundup does its job.
