I've seen several different types of weed matting. Some are obviously never going to last a season. However which ones would people recommend for suppressing ivy/weeds to go under shingle/pea gravel please.

I bought some Roundup weed killer yesterday. I sprayed a part of the fence line. How many days does it take for it to kill the weeds? I am hoping Roundup would first kill the weeds, then I would take a weed-eater to them in a week or two after Roundup does its job.

I have an ignition fault on my Briggs and Stratton Intek 13.5 hp engine. It will not start. There is no spark at the plug, but a neon tester in place of it does flash ok. Tried a new plug.
