Did we ever discover what had happened to this company which was based in
Devon?  I have a faint recollection that they were American originally but
can't recall what happened to the English set up.
Drying leafy veges06 Aug 2008 16:07 GMT2
You can buy dried veges at the Asian market.  I thought I'd try drying
some bak choy and cabbage.  Left them in the sun for a few days.
Haven't try to use them in soup yet.
Anyone use drying to preserve leafy veges?

I haven't visited for a good while because of endless work to do INSIDE
the house.  Meanwhile the lawn has been glyphosated, the roots are
rotting, and I know I need to get on with the planting I planned months

We've been picking tomatoes for the past two weeks or so and whilst the
quantity of fruit per truss is normal, the size of individual toms is
very small this year.......about 60% on a truss are the size of cherry

Red Maple Turning Green06 Aug 2008 04:24 GMT3
I had a Japanese red maple shrub planted last October. In the spring,
it had beautiful red leaves. Entering summer, the centers of the
leaves start showing green, and seem getting greener. What am I
supposed to do? Is it a soil PH or fertilizer issue?

Plum Tree Growing Back?05 Aug 2008 21:20 GMT11
I had a plum tree in my front yard that I loved that was blown down

Watermelon advice needed05 Aug 2008 19:59 GMT2
In my garden, I have about a dozen watermelon plants. The plants got off to
a late start due to insects and cold weather, so I made a last minute
planting towards the end of June. The cold weather continued, and the plants
are still quite small, have maybe a half dozen leaves. ...
