I have some early tomatoes that either need to be eaten or put up, but it's not really enough to run a canning batch. I've also got tons of green ones still on the plants. I'd like to save the early ones until the green ones are ripe too. How about freezing the ripe ones until ...

I've had English walnut trees for years but seldom get nuts. Now I have a few that I managed to rescue from the squirrels and have husked them. Nuts look fully formed but nutmeat is soft and somewhat bitter. Question I have, is will they become more edible on drying

| How many trusses on tomatoes? | 17 Aug 2008 10:46 GMT | 3 |
generally instructions for growing tomatoes tell you to stop the plant after the fourth truss. In the past I have seen plants in late August in a nice warm greenhouse with no leaves and the last few tomatoes ripening on the fourth truss.
