geraniums27 Jul 2008 19:57 GMT6
I am a resident of Spain, Cost Blanca, a very mild climate. I lov
geraniums but am not sure how to prune them in this climate. Obviousl
frost is not an issue. Does anyone know if my geraniums will continu
to flower all year and what I ought to be feeding them. Also I hav
Tiny sweetpea27 Jul 2008 19:25 GMT19
When we were at Highgrove we saw the tiniest sweetpea flower I've ever seen.
Neither of us knew what it was - it's a light blue, all one colour IIRC and
probably less than an inch across.  At first glance we thought we'd seen a
tiny butterfly.  Anyone know what it is?

Costs for a garden pond27 Jul 2008 19:15 GMT10
I would like to have a pond in my garden, and I've just had a quote from
a pond specialist which strikes me as rather expensive. It's for a pond
approx 11  x 9 ft, about 2 foot deep, surrounded with rocks and with a
filtration system, at a cost of about £10,000. The chap who gave ...

Pineapple harvest27 Jul 2008 17:48 GMT3
I have grown a pineapple here in Quebec City. This is the first
pineapple I have ever seen on a plant. And I don't know anyone
who knows anything about growing pineapples. The fruit is now about
half the size of a pineapple as sold at the grocery. The fruit
Help needed27 Jul 2008 17:40 GMT7
Have masses of double petunias (very large) also have loads
of white fly.
Don't want to spray with long last or similar and kill the bees,
are there any old remedies I could make at home that might help.
Watering question27 Jul 2008 15:37 GMT22
I have a one year old Oleander, about 1 metre and a half high in a
huge pot. It is flowering right now.  How often do I need to water
it.  Sacha has seen the size of the urn/pot as as she is more au fait
with stuff can probably explain better than I.  Help please?

What Kind of Tree is This?  Stumped.27 Jul 2008 14:36 GMT4
What kind of tree is this?  I took a few leaves to the local nursery
and they were stumped.  The tree has been losing leaves this summer
like crazy - it looks like Fall in my yard!  The nursery said it's
probably stressed from the wet summer we've had in Northwest Arkansas
Starting plants indoor27 Jul 2008 14:30 GMT1
I want to start plants from seeds in my bedroom this winter and I want to
get a gro-lite system for this purpose.
Can anyone recommend any that are not too large or too expensive, but still
do a good job?
