I too these of my baskets and pots, all of which I grew from seed
except the hanging pink begonias.  Tonight it is raining, thank
goodness as it is parched here.

Earlier this spring I planted some cucumber starts in a 6’ by 3-foot plot
that apparently was overloaded with nitrogen.
After a few weeks in the sun they shriveled and died. I then dug out a “V”

I have a leylandii border around the garden.
I would appreciate ideas for something to 'fill in' around the base so that
dogs can't get in/our dog can't get out.
Currently I hve a chickenwire frnce but it isn't very pleasing to the eye.

After many years of use my ISP has removed all alt.binaries
newsgroups from their server.  When I try to access
alt.binaries.pictures.gardens I get an error.  AT&T says it is doing
this due to child porn, but I have never seen child porn in

Just curious.  What is the difference between "Beans" and "peas"?  is
there a biological distinction? or just a linguistic/interchangeable
difference?

Need some advice on how to remove kikuyu from the lawn. My backyard has a
large lawn section where the kikuyu grass has taken over.
Its located on a terraced bed above the paved courtyard. Quite a tricky
location to get to actually as there are no steps leading to it - only big
