I have three pots with sweet basil (for cooking) on my deck, and something is eating all the leaves, they are fool of holes. I tried spraying insecticidal soap every other day, but it doesn't do anything. I believe they are Japanese beetles, so I put a bag-a-bug next to it. ...

I've just sprayed my peach trees with Burgundy mix (a variant on Bordeaux) and was wondering how long copper sprays have to be on the plant to be effective? We got a light shower within 24 hours of application and I can still see a light blue tinge around the bud edges.

I have two apricot trees that I planted two years ago. They grew fine the first two years. This year, they budded out and started to grow and were doing fine until a few weeks or so ago. Now one appears to be almost dead, and the second is starting to show symptoms.

Over the past few years, my Passiflora caerulea has developed severe chlorosis - it looks just like magnesium or iron deficiency on an cacifuge plant, but P. caerulea is not one such. Has anyone got any ideas?

I'm just trying to fix up my mum's lawnmower - its a Honda "Buffalo" model. Fairly new - but she's hardly used it. She had problems with it ever since she got it - but only now has she asked me to help - and the 1 year warranty has expired. lol.

Last year my newly planted Box hedge started to display a silver effect on all its leaves. The leaves then dropped during winter. I've noticed the same thing again this year. Is it anything to bothe about?
