Compost / Bonfire Challenge03 Jun 2008 23:15 GMT4
I have 'volunteered' to sort out my daughter and son in laws compost /
bonfire area as shown in http://www.myalbum.com/Album-AIKAJZXZ.
The bonfire is the residue of lots of building work and you can see the

problem is that when connected up the flow at the ends of the ...

When are perennials at their lowest price? I suppose that there is a
time of the year that they get discounted substantially, perhaps late
summer?

Hi All, Hope you can help me here, we have just purchased a new-buil

Peas and mice 203 Jun 2008 21:52 GMT2
Can anyone tell me whether Jeyes fluid, meths or white spirit will be
any good to soak my peas in case it is mice eating them.
Thanks Sacha for the suggestion of sharing the paraffin but most
people have their peas up now, so maybe it was not mice at all.

Two sprinkers: connect in sereis or parallel?03 Jun 2008 19:39 GMT12
I have a lawn geometry that is best handled with two sprinklers.
Would it best to connect them in series (faucet to 1st sprinkler and
then 2nd sprinkler to the 1st one), or parallel (put a Y splitter at
the faucet and connect both sprinklers independently by separate
What to do with empty large garden ?03 Jun 2008 18:57 GMT4
Im lucky enough that my new house has a 150ft garden. It wasn't tende

My computer died and I have not posted for a long time . Didn't bother to
replace the computer - there is life outside of this virtual world.
Whilst everyone wishes Monty Don  all the best and a speedy recovery. The
reality is he leaves a hole in the garden at Gardeners World.
