| Chocolate Digitalis | 05 Jun 2008 07:17 GMT | 4 |
I received an offer of a free "chocolate" digitalis from Thompson and Morgan Nursery with a minimum order. I donno, is it just me? A "brown flowered" foxglove doesn't sound all that ornamental. It sounds psychotic.

| Banana: R.I.P. | 04 Jun 2008 21:02 GMT | 4 |
<http://www.the-scientist.com/news/display/54710/> The banana we eat today is not the one your grandparents ate. That one - known as the Gros Michel - was, by all accounts, bigger, tastier, and hardier than the variety we know and love, which is called the

| Fun article | 04 Jun 2008 19:26 GMT | 2 |
While reading some of the newsletters on the AOS forum, I came across a fun type article, apparently written some time back and reprinted lately. Scroll down to page 11, and read the "Views from the past" column. There are some typos, but it's cute nonetheless.
