Trimming rosemary13 Jun 2008 02:58 GMT7
I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong when trimming back my rosemary.
I clip the branches about midway to keep the bush more compact and dense -
but all that happens is that a few months later the entire branch dies.  So
in frustration I've just let the bush grow where it may ...
Craftsman Rotary Lawn Mower NEVER STARTS!13 Jun 2008 01:17 GMT6
This barely used mower has been repaired twice by Sears.  It still
does not start.  New fluids, air filter, spark plug.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work?  I cannot imagine going back
to Sears again.  My problem is that after paying for repairs, I

We had a new turf lawn laid just two weeks ago (3rd weekend in May). Th
wrong time of the year probably but it couldn't be helped.
The grass is getting a bit long and we're conscious of the need to cu

Could this be affecting our own garden food production?
On a larger scale, in view of the current hoo-hah in the pop media
about world-wide food shortages and skyrocketing local U.S. price
increases,  why not  forward this to  your Senate or House whore.
Blue Cedar tree is dying12 Jun 2008 20:26 GMT13
If there anything I can do to save this beautiful tree?
It had been planted by previous owners right in front of the kitchen
window and they grow up to 30 to 40 feet so we had to move it.  We
carefully transplanted it last autumn.  The branches closest to the

blueberry seed germination12 Jun 2008 16:34 GMT6
There are a few wild blueberry plants growing in a section of my
lawn.  I am wondering how they got there.
I have lived here for 20 years and would have noticed them if they
were here all along.  As I understand it, blueberries spread mainly by

Royal Empress Tree12 Jun 2008 07:16 GMT4
Does anyone have one of these?  I need a fast growing tree for shade
and I understand this one to grow fast.  I did some looking on google
and came across a forum and most of the people hate them.  Any advice
on a good shade tree that grows fast would be appreciated!  Thanks!
G. Delbard VON Canada12 Jun 2008 01:18 GMT1
The VON of Canada in the late 90s asked G. Delbard (through White
Rose Nurseries) to develop a rose. I planted one this year and
wonder what success I will have rooting cuttings, winter survival,
disease resistance, etc. Aside from a description that it's an

I wanted to see how everyone is doing with their gardens this year. I

It is all organic and doing very well, thanks to rain barrels, well rain
barrels and one HUGE one I had made that is 300+ gallons.
