Bees have just taken up residence under my floorboards, near to an air brick in my house. I've blocked up the holes for tonight to stop (or maybe just limit slightly) them continuing to grow their hive.

Your "20 gal. rope handle tubs" in current circular. The circular lists them as 20 gallons - on the tubs it says 19 gallons - my receipt shows 18 gals - and I measured it as 16 gallons. What say you ? I sent the above to Ace.

How much HLA to activate a compost heap? I suppose a family might produce half a gallon of HLA a day. Is that too much for a one metre cube compost heap? HLA is often recommended, but I've never seen advice about quantity.
