About to buy a garden sprayer mainly to spray weeds. Wondering if anyone has any advice or tips on a good quality sprayer of the pump-up type holding perhaps 10 litres or more. Probably the single strap, over the shoulder type.

How do you stop them from killing the vines? I tried to cover the vines with soil but that didn't work. I tried Sevin dust. That didn't work either. What are you doing that works? We are growing squash, water mellons and cantalopes.

I'm a 'non' gardener, but I like the results there of so ... The lean-to greenhouse has no opening windows - no not an easy option to put some in (without a full re-build - not my design etc. etc.) so can I use on of those window openers to open the door or does anyone have any

I have a small privet hedge at the front of my house which when grown will give me a little privacy from the street. I planted it 3 years ago and this year it's really taken off - growth is about 30cm so far. I've notice that it's going to flower very soon
