Strange Plant with Explosive Seed Pods31 Aug 2007 23:41 GMT58
Came across a strange plant about 4' tall, with very small yellow
flowers.  If a branch is disturbed by shaking or hitting, seeds are
explosively shot-out in all directions with quite a bit of force,
giving brief sizzling sound.  Has anyone seen a plant like this or

What's best for being very prickly and fast growing - ideally it'd
grow about 12 ft wide overnight but I think that's a bit optimistic.
Obviously I've considered brambles but they're a bit low growing for
what I've got in mind.

I was told by my neighbor that in both cases with grass and moss,  I should
