Mexican Orchid Species Resource31 Dec 2006 16:47 GMT11
I stumbled across this vast archive of what appears to be a Mexican
species manuscript.  It is very professionally compiled, but most of
it appears to be written in Spanish (unfortunately, I only understand
English).  Here's the link:

Rodent ring-barking remedy?30 Dec 2006 12:26 GMT10
Does anyone have an effective method of preventing mice from ring-barking
saplings? I have just lost several dozen potted Acers, Willows and fruit
trees (and last winter and the winter before!). Any ideas gratefully
received.
Albizia Julibrissin Rosea flowering in England ?30 Dec 2006 11:16 GMT47
Does anyone know of  this type of small (Korean origin) tree flowering
out-of-doors in England ?
If so, at what age does it start to show flowers in our summertime ?
It seems to be quite tricky to get success with.
Tomato Salvage?30 Dec 2006 10:40 GMT8

months, seriously thrashing the garden.
Anyway, one tomato plant had a section broken off of the top.
Olive30 Dec 2006 10:03 GMT2
We bought a small olive plant quite early in the new year. Kept it
indoors. (can get to -5C or even -10C here) Then shoved it outside for
the summer in between slightly larger plants.
Then brought it back in a few weeks ago.
Climbing Fuchsia?30 Dec 2006 08:25 GMT13
I see T & M are offering for sale "the worlds first climbing fuchsia" which
is also extra hardy.
Anyone tried it or even seen it? We need something (unusual) like that to
climb a fence.

What is the root structure like in terms of width and depth?
Is there any reason to be concerned about them being evasive
to buildings or cables?
Besides birds, rabbits, and deer, are there any other animals

Fishlover asked this a time back.
"Has anybody tried Phoslock for getting rid of green algae in
fishponds?"
