Identify this weed?30 Jun 2006 19:51 GMT4
My yard has seen an amazing turnaround in just the last year.  The past 2
years I was complaining about almost 100% crabgrass coverage.  I took it
very seriously, and now I can only find the occasional crabgrass plant.  I
powerseeded in the fall, and was meticulous in my usage of ...

We're putting in a dutch cobblestone patio in the back yard about 13.5

put in 6" of paver-base and compacted it. I realized today that we
forgot to measure 8" past the padio borders so our paver-base is

dying cucumbers30 Jun 2006 13:58 GMT1
It seems that every time a cuke start growing well just as it gets to 2 - 3
inches, it starts dying at the end and working it's way up until the cuke is
toast.  Our first cuke grew super big but never turned dark green.  It just
got hard.  I cut it off and left it for rot.  The ...

How do I get my newly planted rambler (Paul's Himalayan Musk - apparently

Getting Australian Dendrobiums to grow30 Jun 2006 00:48 GMT7
Does anyone grow Dendrobium pedunculatum (AKA Den. speciosum var.
pedunculatum)? I don't know whether or not this species is slow
growing--or reluctant to put out new growths--but mine hasn't started
any new growths in nearly a year. It receives full sun all day long,
Propagating fuschias30 Jun 2006 00:12 GMT11
I have an uncommon fuchsia called Sheila Mary (obtained in memory of my dear
mother-in-law who passed away 2 years ago).  My father propagates many types
of fuchsia for his hanging baskets but had no luck taking cuttings from this
variety.
