A couple of weeks ago I planted out my tomato plants into containers on a south facing patio. Now I've noticed one of the plants is wilting. It seems to recover if moved into shade. It's ok for water. Anyone an idea what could cause this. I've read about virus's causing

I have some very large pots that had dried out in the recent heatwave.......... The soil had contracted and left room around the side of the pots so that the water just ran straight down and thu the drainage holes at the bottom. The pots are too large to dunk in a bucket........

I read this in New Scientist, I believe. Take a battery that's apparently drained (doesn't work in your walkman anymore, for instance). It will most likely have some sort of voltage left in it, though.
