Since I live just north of Seattle, the winter temperature rarely dips below
forty degrees.   And - since ground source heat pumps are more expensive
then regular heat pumps would it make more sense to install a regular heat
pump.

about to pour a basement slab, but wanting to add radiant tubing to be
connected at some future date?
wondering what type of tubing to use. i have heard regular pex is not
to be used in concrete and the aluminum coated pex is super expensive.

I replaced the air conditioner components a couple of years ago but
the furnace unit was still working fine.  Now the fan has died in the
furnace so the AC is useless too.  I can't seem to find anywhere to buy
a new furnace to install myself. All searches just bring up service

My daughter's companion/boyfriend contracts homebuilding for a living.  A
