I'm about to put a deck down for a customer using 3/4" ipe. I'm thinking of trying hidden deck fasteners. Does anyone have any experience with these they'd like to share? How much extra labor was it, and did you get squeaks, etc? I'm looking at the ebty system--

I am building a new house and my building inspector warned me that the floor joists can shrink with time and the floor will sink accordingly. He says that he has seen vertical gaps of up to 10mm between the skirting board and the floor a few years after the house was built.
