| googling "summer toilet leaking caulking" | 30 May 2006 02:30 GMT | 1 |
Doing a search of "summer toilet leaking caulking" gives a lot to look through. The first thing I notice with this hit is check to see if flapper is leaking by adding food coloring and checking the bowl. I think I could probably get a better idea coming here first, and save ...

| Curvco Steel Buildings | 29 May 2006 13:25 GMT | 2 |
Well, I paid $3,800 for the fancy foundation I wasn't informed I needed. I got the sides up and the bolt holes don't line up. The side panels flatten out. The arch pieces are the same size so they slot into each other. It is like trying to put two boxes the same size

This new house I bought has 8 mil black visquene down over a bed of chat gravel (limestone type). The coverage is pretty good, and they used metal U-spikes to join the visquene pieces where they meet at seams, etc. Would it be worth the time to seal the seams better with tape ...

| Question on framing floor opening in remodel | 27 May 2006 17:05 GMT | 9 |
In a remodel situation, I'm framing a floor opening in which a new double trimmer joist will be only 7/8" away from an existing tail joist. This makes supporting the tail joist from the new header difficult. Would it be reasonable to use a 7/8" thick filler board
