Can anybody tell me the difference between TGI and TJI joists. (or is it
just brand names) and has there been fire tests on TGI or TJI joists.

Everything I have read about insulating the floors above a crawl space
make a point of saying that the insulation should be placed directly
against the floor with no air gaps.  Why do they insist on the "no air

i live in a mobile home that has an electric furnace...it works
fine,but when the blower kicks off,it'll still blow warm ait just a
little bit,not much,but enough to notice..is this normal?..if not,what

I am going to build an addition with most likely full basement
