In new construction, I've discovered putting faceplates on outlets that some of them are set slightly too deep into the sheetrock. What techniques are best to bring the outlet forward so that it better fits the faceplate?

| Stamped concrete problem | 30 Jul 2004 04:06 GMT | 3 |
I had a local outfit pour and stamp a 20 X 40 patio. The stamping looks good but they used two different colored release agent powders and instead of mixing them together they evidently ran out of tan and finished with dark gray charcoal. As a result about 2/3 of the pad is

| beginning a carport | 30 Jul 2004 01:02 GMT | 1 |
I have to make a long carport, 16' x 60', attached at one side to an existing structure. The pitch has to be very low, because of the space that the carport roof must fit into and the underside cleanance that is needed. I'm unclear as to whether it's best to buy a kit, or to build ...
