Cleaning Small Blotches on Linoleum27 May 2007 21:17 GMT20
We have small blotches on/in the kitchen linoleum floor that don't
come clean. They appear to be in the linoleum rather than just on top
of it. They look like mold or fungus -- dark colored. House is on a
concrete slab. Thanks.

oily towels25 May 2007 23:25 GMT2
We received a stack of large heavy towels that were used in a tanning
salon. They are perfect to use around the pool, but I wonder if I will
ever be able to get rid of that grimy feeling from the lotion used in
the salon. If you have a solution for me, please share, otherwise I'll

I've recently purchased a 2-year old home outside Houston, Texas. I'm
have great difficultly trying to clean the stall shower glass (both

Well, so much for taking my 100% wool, hand knotted (and very expensive)

cleaning foil off an electric stove burner14 May 2007 03:23 GMT4
So my roommate was heating something on top of foil on top of our
electric stove burner.  The foil ended up melting onto the burner.
Any ideas on how to get it off?  We've tried reheating it so it's
easier to clean off but with no luck.

please- stick vac recommendation05 May 2007 16:03 GMT1
I need a new stick vac, mostly for my kids to use.  They want to help,
but find the full size vac awkward.  I had an old Eureka (I think) that was
fine, so I replaced it with another one from wally world, and it's really
awful.  Just doesn't pick up anyuthing. So- I'd like to ...
Good Vacuum Cleaner /  $150-200  Range ?04 May 2007 04:04 GMT4
We need a general purpose vacuum cleaner.  We only have carpet in our house,
no hardwood floors.  We want an upright, probably one that doesn't use the
more old-fashioned type paper bag that is a mess to replace. The price range
for us is about $150-200, or maybe a bit more if a ...
Easter Bunny02 May 2007 04:00 GMT16
The Easter Bunny brought me a new line, a new matching prop in green and a
giant bag of soft touch pegs.
I WAS hoping for a washing machine .
Still, mustn't be ungrateful.
Tea stains on interior painted wall01 May 2007 21:12 GMT2
I had a bizarre little accident in the kitchen the other day where I
slipped while attempting to deposit hot steeped tea bags in the trash
can resulting on very noticeable tea stains on the wall.  The wall is
off white interior latex paint.  I wiped it off quickly, but the damage ...
