I assume the carpet is some kind of polyester.
I tried the regular soap & detergent.
To Scooba or not to Scooba!24 Jan 2007 23:41 GMT1
To scooba or not to scooba, that is the question.  My husband gave me
the okay to buy a robotic floor cleaner, so I was just wondering if I
should get the one that vacuums or the one that also mops.  Thoughts?

Stainless steel cleaning14 Jan 2007 19:21 GMT3
I am trying to clean my stainless steel refrigerator.  There are numerous
fingerprints and other water stains on it that are lighter than the rest of
the surface.  I used a stainless steel spray cleaner on it, but the
fingerprints are not coming off.  I read on the internet to ...
The space beneath my oven is a nightmare13 Jan 2007 20:47 GMT3
I'm in a rented house that's been in continuous occupancy (not by me!)
for half a decade.  I've been cleaning the electic oven, which is a
Kleenmaid, built into the bench.  Cleaning the oven itself has been no
problem, but I've noticed that there seems to be an extra kind of
DRINKING COKE A COLA FROM CANS12 Jan 2007 04:21 GMT3

told ratsick is put into warehouses to keep rats out, hence the rats crawl
over the cans leaving a residue of rat poision. A person has died from such
Removing set nail polish from hardwood11 Jan 2007 19:51 GMT3
I accidentally left a not tightly capped  bottle of nail polish (red,
of course) on my end table.  Cat or dog tipped it over, and a pool was
on the floor when I awakened.  I mopped up what could be mopped, but
there is a considerable stain remaining.  Ideas?  I was thinking of

dishwasher safe, top rack03 Jan 2007 07:45 GMT7
Disasher safe, top rack.  That's what it says on a lot of things.
But is it really much safer on the top rack?
After all, the hot water gets to the top rack only a split second
after the bottom rack.  How much colder is it really!
