How do you vacuum an oriental rug?  
I was told one should turn it upside down and vacuum, then turn it

A friend has a house whose heating pipes in the cellar are insulated
with asbestos. Would it be expensive to remove the insulation from the
pipes, and should it be removed?

I was just given an old upright vacuum with a hose attachment,
If I use the hose and its utensils while the vacuum is running on the
carpet, wont' it wear a hole in the carpet??  How do you all handle

Hi--Everytime we have the Best Buy Service come out, (another BAD story),
they clean out old sour lint near the top of the basket or enclosure.
Five days later, the clotheswasher stinks again.
