Mold on house siding26 Jun 2005 03:47 GMT1
Is there a product out there that kills mold on house siding easy?  I have
used bleach and a brush but this is awkward on the higher spots of the
garage and my two family home.
I would appreciate any and all ideas.
dead anima<s>l cleanup23 Jun 2005 18:07 GMT5
We've purchased a repo home where the previous owners had left animals
in the home when they left. The animals starved to death in addition to
doing a good deal of damage. So far we've washed everything down and
removed the carpet. The intense odor remains. What are the options

Keeping vinyl shower clean21 Jun 2005 00:20 GMT7
We always squeegee our vinyl shower stall after each use (without any kind
of cleaning solution), and that seems to keep the walls an doors clean.
However, after a while, all of the horizontal surfaces become covered with
what looks like dirt.  I've tried several solutions to ...

My daughter's kitchen window over looks the shingled roof of her patio.
She set a container of chicken fat on the window sill to cool it to a

Orange-Glo Hardwood Floor Cleaner?????17 Jun 2005 20:15 GMT3
Is it worth the $20? I've seen it advertised on TV, "Not Available in
Stores!"
But I notice that it's sold at our local Giant Eagle supermarket. I was
thinking of buying it but I thought I'd get some opinions first.
Alternative To White Vinegar16 Jun 2005 03:55 GMT3
I prefer white vinegar to Lysol like products for cleaning but
my daughter hates the smell of vinegar.  Is there a product
as "people friendly" as vinegar without an odor?
Thanks,
Duster Tip ( Choreboy)14 Jun 2005 22:16 GMT2
Take one egg cup of vinegar and one egg cup of boiled linseed oil and place
in a jar. Add a duster and leave until the liquid is taken up. Hang the
duster out to dry. Thereafter keep the duster in a plastic bag or in the
jar.

Cleaning an (outdoor) patio canopy13 Jun 2005 19:29 GMT16
Hi---
My umbrella canopy above our outdoor table has many years of black spots,
probably mold.
The winter weather does not seem to kill this stuff off.
Free & clear H.E. laundry detergent?09 Jun 2005 12:16 GMT3
I have always purchased laundry detergent that is free of perfumes and dyes.
We are about to get a new, high-efficiency, front-loading washer, so I
started browsing detergent options at the supermarket.  The washer requires
an H.E. (high efficiency) rated detergent.

Excessive Dust!  From where?01 Jun 2005 02:41 GMT22
Hi Gang
I moved into a very dusty old house.  It was quite obvious where all the
excess dust was coming from.  Ceiling to wall joints not taped and joined,
covered with loose fitting crown molding.  Floor to wall joints with large
