My wife and I are staging our home right now in preparation for putting
it on the market.  We're conscientious folk who are going to leave the
house in better shape than when we bought it with a number of
improvements and repairs we've made.  We've been watching the usual

I recently purchased a "gig" bag for my guitar. It's made of some type of
fabric. The problem is that is has a gasoline type odor. Any
ideas on how I can get rid of the smell?  TIA

I figure the degreasing of our maple cabinetry won't be so bad, with the
products you all recommended.  We'll get to work on that one.
However, I'm now a little tentative about the distinct aroma left from this

I am in the market for a new vac...I find the choice almost overwhelming, do
you have a favorite...the sweeper would be used for a split level all
carpeted home and one inside dog....I know there are $400.0 dollar plus

We have a number of pots and pans that have accumulated a layer of
"varnish" and black coating over the years.  So far only scrubbing with
a mild abrasive (soft scrub or baking soda) or a worn Scotch-Brite has
made a dent.

I can't believe it, but I have killed 4 large black ants already in the
house. Usually I get some early spring, but never early February. No special
places, two in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one in my living room.

Our T ware seems to be developing an etching problem. Even if we hand wash
the pieces, the clear tubs seem to be having a reaction with something.
   Anyone else have this problem???

daughter 30 years age and I have had it stored away.  Now that my daughter

If any one is looking, I know a company where I buy natural cleaners
(household and laundry) that are a wonderful blessing for familes.  So
far I have thrown away (not used up) my bleach products and other harsh
chemicals and use only the new products...what a difference!  I can now

I would like some ideas on how to get this chapstick out of jeans and
kahkis. The chapstick was in the pockets and went through the dryer and
now it has left those shiny spots all over any suggestions?

Is anyone here familiar with powerwashing their lanai. I've just moved to
Flordia and have yet to to this. I would rather do it myself then have
someone else do it for me.  What are your thougths?  My big question is I'm
thinking about picking up an electric powerwasher at Home ...

I live in Northeast US and we've had a wet fall and mild winter.Problem is
ladybugs and some sort of small gnat indoors.A few people I talked too also
have same problem.Does anyone else have this? Did weather cause it? Where did
they come from? How do I solve this problem? Any help ...
