Re: What does everyone think of this ad?30 May 2004 01:02 GMT24
First of all... the ad I put in here was not for span use.. I asked a simple
question on what people thought of it as I was doing different designs for
this ad... If I was gonna spam, I would have hidden myself a little better
with hiding my info as a user and posted it through ...
Steaming28 May 2004 23:25 GMT2
Took the plate off the wallpaper steamer and used the rubber tube on a stick
for steaming the oven and microwave and cupboards and floor and tiles
What a mess! Water everywhere!
It never moved any grease despite me holding it on one little dot for two
haunted carpet28 May 2004 18:01 GMT1
I seem to have a haunted carpet!  There are a few dark stains that I
can't get rid of.  They are fairly large, and look like a liquid stain
in pattern. We have cleaned it multiple times and they reappear-like
magic!

Water softener?  (Haley's Cleaning Hints)25 May 2004 03:26 GMT10
Just picked up a copy of Haley's Cleaning Hints at the library, and expected
to be able to look this up in the index.  Anyone know what he is talking
about when he mentions "water softener"?  Also called "washing soda."  No
such thing on my grocery store shelves...  I somehow ...

Whilst having our flat roof re-roofed, the molten tar ran through between
roofing timbers and side boarding, its set in streaks down the lace
curtains, on lace table cloths and splashed on the wallpaper.
Any ideas on removal. Lace is white.

Hi, anyone know of the best way to remove the smell, on warm humid days or
wet days especially, of mice pee. We have an extension which had a couple of
mice running around in the roof space for some time, and being mice, they
have left their smell of pee and poo behind in there. As ...
Some White Laundry Turned Blue....24 May 2004 04:25 GMT2
I had used Clorox on a spot on my husband's white Bermuda shorts and
then put them in the machine with ALL and the rest of the whites. All
of my panties and bras turned light blue - the stain did not come out
of his shorts and the rest of the whites were white....
a Crystal Tip21 May 2004 03:37 GMT9
I have a huge collection of fine crystal, some inherited, some gifted, and
some purchased.  Some years ago I came upon a method to wash it and prevent
a premature clouding/filming so that it remains quite clear for display.
I first wash it in a 4:1 mixture of distilled water and ...
