Where do you rent upholstery steamers? I don't want to hire a cleaning service, but rather do the job myself. I thought HomeDepot would rent such equipment but they don't. Who does? Thanks.

While I was bedridden with the flu, my Boston terrier decided to have his way with my brand new area rug. Thankfully I caught the stain almost immediately (the dog looked guilty), but the damage was done. I sopped up the excess urine as best I could, but as the rug is 100%

What did I do wrong? I removed all of the caulk from around the tub, even used a solvent to remove minute traces, and let it dry for three days before applying new caulk. I filled the tub with water, recaulked using siliconized mildew resistant caulk and let that cure for a week. ...

I hope you can help me. Used cooking oil (peanut oil used to fry shrimp and some chicken fat) spilled on my hard wood floors and sat till I came home, maybe an hour, there is now a stain, mark, and visable area that is different. Any suggestions on how to clean it.
