Objective reviews & ratings of dishwashers?06 Mar 2010 13:13 GMT5
We're ready to replace our 15 year old Bosch. We were never happy with

39 Reasons for Gun Control11 Mar 2010 06:40 GMT20
1.   Banning guns works, which is why New York, DC, and Chicago cops
need guns.
  2. Washington DC's low murder rate of 80.6 per 100,000 is due to
strict gun control, and Arlington, VA's high murder rate of 1.6 per

Aborting livestock11 Mar 2010 02:53 GMT6
I heard that a vet can abort a pregnant cow, horse, or other
livestock.  Can someone please explain how this is done?  From what I
understand, they just give a drug.  But how soon must this be given,
and are there side effects?  What else should I know?

Painting "shower panels" as a bathroom wall/ceiling11 Mar 2010 01:11 GMT5

Attachment of Rail to Concrete or  Motar Pillar ??09 Mar 2010 05:55 GMT6

The pillars that I will attach to are some kind of mortar or concrete.  It

What are those strange screws used for locks?11 Mar 2010 08:18 GMT3
Installing a lockset today (el cheapo Kwikset entry w/deadbolt), I
noticed they included two of those weird screws in the hardware package.
I worked out that they were intended to hold the passage lock strike to
the jamb.
Interior remodeling questions w/pics11 Mar 2010 08:04 GMT12
I'm putting in a double door in my den's entry way. There are a couple of
walls I need to put in that will not flush with the existing walls. I'd like
to make them easy to take out if we, or another owner, decides to return to
the original design.
