please help identify this plant!!

it is about 2 foot tall and has green leaves looking like a norma
daffodil (without the yellow petals), but on the end of the tal
shoots, are these green pods about 7cm long by 3cm wide. i pulled on
off to look at it, its hard but soft as in there is something inside.
opened it and there are about 6 rows of what i can only call sweetcorn!
any ideas???????

Last night while sitting in my chair
I pinged a host that wasn't there
It wasn't there again today
The host resolved to NSA.
