Unless the thermal leak can be fixed it is a thermal disaster.  With
its positive aspects it has its own flaws that need to be addressed.
Look at what the Austrian Passive home is doing.  Cool stuff...

No way to insulate as well as wood, overall R value is to low, wood or

At first looking at houses that rarely go below 20 degrees
Celsius,needing cross ventilation and fans for cooling.
