Hi all,
does anyone know were I will find information on measuring windows
openings for replacement windows?  I've found some American stuff that is in
inches, but was looking for something in metric measurements.  Also the
information I've found so far, some info says to measure from inside the
property, others say from the outside.  Is there a definitive guide
somewhere? Can anyone
help?

Cheers

Not aware of one.

Don't forget to measure the diagonals to make sure the windows are
reasonably square.

Steve,
Many years ago I was a window surveyor for ColdSheild Windows in Slough
Bucks. I do not know of any web site that can help you out but if you
would like to email me maybe I can give you a few pointers.
Cheers
Pete
