I was just wondering what the general consensus here is...I've heard many
conflicting things.

This is effectively the same as SIP's (structurally insulated panels). I
have not heard of any problems with these.
The only thing I don't know about is de-bonding of the insulation and the
substrate as the material goes through MANY thermally induced
expansion/contraction cycles over the years. This could open small cracks
around studs/joists (in traditional stick construction) that could open an
air leakage path. In stick construction, you can counter this by adding a
vapor barrier on the warm side of the wall/ceiling as additional insuarance
even though the polyurethane foam is in itself a vapor barrier.

Are you refering to the "sip" product? What is the application, structual wall
or insulation layer? I'm comparing notes on several days of research on
insulation methods, including sip, on-site spray application, etc.
