Does anyone have any experience with cedar shake vinyl siding products? It is
the look of the shake and scallops by alside and norandex that I am
considering.
Just wondering if you have technical specifications, installation "gotcha's",
thermal considerations (piedmont triad, north carolina), or anything else
before I make this significant purchase.
I currently have 12" o.c. B&B wood siding and as I mention, I simply think the
combination of the cedar shake and scallop architecture siding would be a good
look for the house.
Thank you in advance.

I have used Vinyl Cedar Impressions siding on numerous occasions with great
success. If you simply follow the manufactures recommendations you
shouldn't have any issues.

If you are considering Norandex, please do yourself a favor
and investigate Wolverine Vinyl Siding. It is a superior
product overall and a far superior product in specialties
and installation methodologies. Otherwise, congratulations
of living in the Piedmont Triad, otherwise known as God's
Country amongst God's Finest. Certainly a worthy location
for a better-to-best product. (Norandex makes very good
windows but only good siding.)
