I've been told that i can use a construction adhesive like gorilla glue and
a finish nailer to attach the trex to my deck substructure... Anyone here
have experience ? gorilla glue isn't cheap, I'm not sure but i think the
glue cannot have MEK in it or it could possibly melt the polyethelyne or
polythylene in the planks?                 Thanks for your time

I wouldn't glue it.

I would use self tapping screws.

Best of luck, and let us know how it comes out!

don't use glue. this stuff does expand and contract some. i just finished my
second deck using trex. I used glav. deck screws from home depot. I have
seen adds for screws specially for this type material. they make it easier
to flush the screw heads. could not find they locally. this stuff is easy to
work with.
