i used to be a po and worked cssu. dusting the interior of a car is a
mess. what ever you do do not use moisture till the last. i did not see
the beginning of this post. if you were a victim of a crime, check your
insurance company. in central ohio they (ins co.) paid to have houses
and cars cleaned. that was the early 90"s.

I am an auto detailer. The local PD referred a person to me to clean up his
recovered stolen vehicle.

Why not call the people at the PD who work with the dust and
ask them how they clean up?

i did work with it. it is terrible, for a car, house and your lungs.
we never cleaned the mess we made. but i do know you have to vacuum it
the best you can. once it gets wet it smears and takes forever to get
up. my mom was burglarized and raped. the guys i worked with processed
the scene. the only place to dust was the point of entry and that was a
vinyl window. that was easy to clean.
