It isn't necessary to post all these "Press Releases" (a.k.a. unsolicited advertisements)! It would be more appropriate to make a single post with titles and links to ALL YOUR PRESS RELEASES at once. You're clearly exceeding the proper use of this newsgroup.

Frank Olson - 10 May 2007 17:02 GMT > You guys post the same unprovoked attacks > and personal insults over and over again. "Unprovoked attacks and personal insults", eh? Gee, what could possibly provoke this kind of response? Could it be 15 or 20 "PR posts" in the last few days?? In a forum that's largely comprised of industry professionals? Go "shill" your store at CHA.

The format and content of the posts conforms with commonly accepted practice. They are on-topic here and not particularly frequent.

They also help with search engine ranking. The upside to that is that people searching for home automation related product not ony find my store but are also introduced to this newsgroup.

Actually, they *ARE* far too frequent and far too commercial.
In a newsgroup, staying low-key means sending a crass commercial message no more than once a week. (And even THAT will get you flamed.)
Take a look at my postings here. I'm not very vocal. If even *I* am piping up about this, you're probably WAY out of line. You're making yourself and your company look bad.
The best way to promote yourself in a newsgroup is to contribute factual information that impresses people with your insight, knowledge, and competence. If your messages include a brief signature that lets folks know that you also have commercial interests in the subject matter, you will draw their business.
Dumping your catalog onto the newsgroup in bits and pieces, nearly every day, also impresses people -- but probably not in the way you intend.

The following is the Better business report on how badly he treats his victims.
If anyone would really rather not see this being posted in its entirety every time he advertises in a Newsgroup whose FAQ prohibits doing so ..... you'd better start complaining to Bass about it.
Otherwise ..... I guess it's just to f.cking bad.

Look, I'm just trying to offer you a much-needed clue about how to effectively market your services without making yourself look like a fool.
You just go ahead and keep it up. If your intent is to drum up business, you'll be wasting your time, effort and (presumably) good name.
If your intent is just to piss people off -- well, then you'll certainly be successful by that criterion.
